“WORST DOCTOR EVER!!!!!!!!”

After a nasty fall down the stairs and trip to the emergency room, I found out that I had broken my arm. I was told to seek consultation on what to do next, so I made an appointment with the closest doctor in town to me. Turns out the nearest was Dr. Fed. I made an appointment for the next week, which would turn out to be a huge mistake…

I arrived for my appointment, and after waiting for 45 minutes (like you always have to do at doctor’s appointments), Dr. Fed walked into the room. He looked at my arm for a few minutes and then told me that my arm wasn’t broken! I was stunned. Everyone at the ER after my fall had told me that my arm was broken and in really bad shape. I tried to tell him that everyone had said my arm was broken and he must be mistaken, but he just said that he was the expert and his expert opinion was that my arm was fine.

Needless to say, I was both frustrated and incredibly confused. I left the office that day and went home to figure all of this out. I went back to the ER and they confirmed what they had said the first time: my arm was broken. Just to make it undisputable, I had them give me copies of the X-rays they took as well as further documentation that their diagnosis was that I had a broken arm.

The following week, I had another appointment set up with Dr. Fed. I was determined to get him to believe that my arm truly was broken and then to establish a plan on healing it. After arriving to his office (and the inevitable 45 minute wait), he walked in and I showed him everything I had collected to show that my arm was, without a doubt, broken. After looking it over, he finally agreed. However, he then told me that my broken arm was just transitory! Surgery and rehab wouldn’t be necessary, and given enough time everything would turn out okay. I tried asking him questions, but he just repeated that my break was transitory and that I shouldn’t worry about it.

I went home that day just as confused as I was leaving my first visit. My arm was in a lot of pain, and I couldn’t believe that all I needed was time to heal it. I did some research, and there was no way that the break that I had would heal without intensive treatment. I made yet another appointment to see Dr. Fed. I told him that he must have been wrong that I had a transitory broken arm (whatever that means). My pain had only gotten worse and I knew I needed to start treatment sometime soon, and my patience with Dr. Fed was wearing quite thin.

He agreed that the break wasn’t transitory, and finally agreed to do something to help heal my arm. He planned out multiple surgeries and rehab stints to help my arm. However, these were all planned for months from now. I asked him why so long out from now if we have a problem now? He said that he acknowledges that my broken arm is serious and something needs to be done about it. “Surgery after surgery after surgery! You’ll be spending so much time fixing this arm it will make your head spin”, he said to me. He never did answer why everything to fix my arm was so far out in the future, though.

Over the next few days, the problem of scheduling these surgeries so far out in the future start to really eat at me. My arm wasn’t feeling any better, despite the multiple appointments I had with Dr. Fed. I decided to make yet another appointment to see if these surgeries could be moved up any closer so I wouldn’t have to wait so long. Months of pain in my arm didn’t sound at all like a good time.

I was waiting in the room at Dr. Fed’s office for my appointment (what else is new), when he suddenly bursts through the door. He told me that Russia invaded Ukraine, and because of that, there was no way that any work on my arm was happening anytime soon! All of it had to be put on hold indefinitely. By this point, I had enough of Dr. Fed and I stormed out of his office and went straight home. First, I had to convince that my arm was broken, then convince him it wasn’t transitory, then convince him to do something sooner, all for him to call the whole thing off. I recommend that you take your business elsewhere and forget about this loony crank.
